Documenting my journey through data.

About Me

All the things that make me, me.

Experienced in Adaptability

I strive to do what the role requires of me and to fit into the team seamlessly. I've worked in both start-ups and MNCs, in various industries (e-commerce, construction, finance), in different countries around the world.

Self-taught Lifelong Learner

Whether it's work related or simply a new hobby, my passion lies in learning new things (and I'd like to think that I'm fast at it.) I've received certificates in coding & data analysis, including the Google Data Analytics Certificate. Side note, Google is my best friend.

Tech Savvy

I pride myself in being able to use Excel without a mouse (and having a 130WPM average). In terms of coding, I prefer Python over R, and SQL for querying. Fun fact: I even made my first computer game on BYOND when I was 12.

Finance Educated, Market Trained

Studied Finance in school, and applied it into the real world. I spent two years venturing into day trading in the US stock markets, and more recently, dabbling into cryptocurrency and NFTs.

Analytical, Strategic, Rational Mindset

My mind has always worked in a logical and analytical way. It's the reason why I value the strategical aspects of things such as sports or chess, as opposed to the athleticism or talent.

Driven by Passion

This goes for everything in my life. I founded the chess club in highschool because I loved the game. I took on the role of president in Enactus because I wanted to make a change. I delved into data because I wanted to use it to bring impact and change.

Dashboard Proposal for New York Metro

Using Tableau to create a dashboard proposal for an assignment to suggest fare price increase for the New York City Metro in 2019.

Cryptocurrency and NFT Analysis using SQL

Several projects including a wallet tracker and analysis & comparisons between similar NFT projects (thank you Dune Analytics, you the real MVP)

Movies & The Factors that Drive their Success

Using Python to find the correlation between different attributes of movies to find what makes them commercially successful.

Titanic Passenger Survival Prediction using ML

Dipping my toes into machine learning with the iconic Titanic dataset to predict survival likelihood based on passenger attributes.
